Powerful Transitions

Life is full of powerful transitions.

Some transitions are more powerful than others but nevertheless move you, impact you, and change your life.

As we journey throughout life we can learn from the transitions.

If we are patient,

If we prepare,

and if we are purposeful,

To  learn, grow and being more fulfilled throughout the transition.

We can receive and appreciate the Overflow that life transitions brings.

The emotional and mental deposits that we draw from through these transitions,

Can be replenished and give us a spiritual, emotional, and mental surplus that can and will carry us through our next powerful transition.

So grateful for God carrying us through one powerful life transition at a time.

I Remember

I remember when you was only a day old,

It was just me and you in the hospital room,

And we were having a quiet moment,

I was holding this miracle of life in my arms,

As I was staring at you and you are staring back at me,

So many feelings, I was feeling at that time,

Joy and Happiness,

Humility and Peace,

Anxiety and Uncertainty,

And even Doubt and Fear,

As I held my new little baby in my arms,

I made some promises to God,

I made promises to myself,

And I made promises to you.

I promised to always be there for you,

And I am so glad I have kept my promise to you.

And I will continue as

Regroup, Recharge, and Reset

Sometimes you have to take a minute to regroup, recharge, and reset.

Sometimes we have to take a minute to gain perspective.

Sometimes we have to take a minute before we re- engage.

Sometimes we have to take a moment to relax and renew our mind, body, and spirit.

Sometimes we have take a break, and go back to the task after a pause.

Be good to yourself,

Be kind to yourself,

Be patient with yourself.

By taking a moment to regroup, recharge and reset.

Beginning The Day With You

As I mentally prepare to rise,

And physically prepare to rise

And begin the day,

And begin the tasks and responsibilities that the day brings,

That the day requires,

I am conscious and intentional,

About looking to the Lord before I do anything else,

I know I will do a lot of things,

Once my feet hit the floor and I take one step then another step then another,

Before I take off,

Before I take on,

Before I begin,

Before the lists of tasks and duties are addressed,

I lay still, I lay calm,

I lay thinking, reflecting, and mediating on You.

Seeking Your face

Seeking Your guidance and direction,

Seeking to be inspired ,

Seeking to be filled ,

Seeking Your peace which surpasses all understanding,

Seeking to be empowered by Your Power, Light and Love.

And You indeed fill me.

You indeed lead me.

You indeed inspire and empower me.

You indeed give me all I seek and more.

The day is just beginning.

And it blesses me to begin the day with You.

Thank You for another day.

Thank You for the blessing of a new beginning.

Thank You for Your faithfulness and consistency.

Thank You for Your everlasting, redeeming,unconditional, perfect love.

Thank You for bringing me this far.

Thank You for Your Greatness, Your Goodness,and for Your Grace as well as Your mercy.

Thank You for carrying me through the storms and rain.

Thank You for moving mountains, allowing me to climb mountains, and for bringing me over the hills and valleys.

You are truly awesome,

You are absolutely wonderful, marvelous and magnificent.

You are worthy of all the Praise , Glory, and Honor.

Good morning Lord,

I am seeking to please You.

I desire to serve You.

Looking to You, to lead, guide, and direct me.

Looking to You to empower, equip, encourage and protect me.

Understanding

Sometimes understanding comes with time,

Sometimes understanding comes when we have an open mind.

Sometimes understanding comes from experiences,

Sometimes our understanding becomes greater as we live.

It is a wonderful blessing to increase what we know,

It is a wonderful blessing to learn and to continue to grow.

Because some things, many things are in the Lord’s planning,

He can give us greater faith,

greater experiences,

And greater understanding.

When we seek Him, we will be able to find Him.

When we seek understanding, we will be able to obtain it.
